Our light-weight ladders are non-conductive of electricity, heat and magnetic fields. They possess great mechanical strength and are resistant to moisture, acids, corrosion, ultraviolet radiation, etc.
The longitudonal beams and the rungs are made with out of polyester reinforced with fibreglass in a closed tubular cross-section. The pultrusion process used yields greast strength and homogeneity. The rung, which is horizontal under normal use of the ladder, has an ample (30mm), flat surface for supporting the foot. Fittings are made of stainless steel.
The ladders have been tested electrically on the basis of CEI 61478 (High-voltage work. Ladders of non-conductive material) with the following results. In dielectric rigidity tests the material did not break down at 60,000 V AC and 90,000 V DC. At 28,000V AC the leakage current did not exceed 1mA.
